Pianos are heavy, unbalanced and intolerant of bumps. Our piano moving service uses a 4-man crew, padded skids and ratchet straps to move uprights and small grands safely between any two addresses in Cyprus.

Most upright pianos in Cypriot homes weigh 200-300 kg, with a high centre of gravity. We always lift with the right number of people — three for an upright, four for anything bigger — and never tip a piano onto its back unless it has been properly prepared.
Grand pianos are dismantled at the legs and pedal lyre, wrapped on a fitted board and reassembled in your new room. Your tuner is the last step — we recommend tuning two weeks after the move, once the piano has settled.

Will moving the piano put it out of tune?+
Some change is normal. We recommend tuning 2 weeks after the move once the piano has acclimatised to the new room.
Can you take a piano up stairs?+
Yes, up to two flights with a trained 3-4 person crew. More than that we usually plan a balcony or window hoist.
Do you insure pianos in transit?+
Yes, pianos are covered by our standard goods-in-transit insurance. Higher-value instruments can be insured at declared value.
Do you take grand pianos apart?+
Yes — legs, pedal lyre and music stand are removed, wrapped and travel separately on a fitted board.
